Howell Creative Group Honored for VIMS Marketing Collateral

Howell Creative Group won an American Graphic Design Award for marketing collateral they developed for the Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS). The competition, which is open to professionals in the graphic arts community, receives thousands of entries annually.

“Among its many projects, VIMS’ work in marine research and education is key to the better understanding of our estuarine environment and its relationship to the world’s climate,” says Kathy Howell, President and Creative Director of Howell Creative Group, “and it’s an honor to work with them. Winning this award for VIMS means a great deal to us.”

Kathy Howell had the exciting opportunity to meet the First Lady of Virginia Maureen McDonnell at the Women's Initiative Network luncheon in Richmond. The First Lady and author Mary Miley Theobald were there to discuss the publication of Theobald's beautiful new book about the Executive Mansion: First house: Two Centuries with Virginia's First Families.
